GENERAL JOURNAL
This is where you encode non-regular entries and adjustments to balance Debits and Credits. All accounts have special column here and they should be identified as Debit or Credit accounts. Adjustments are entered here and transactions that cannot be recorded in the Special Journals. Negative entries can be recorded here to balance Debits and Credits.
Note: Positive entries in Assets, Costs and Expenses accounts are debits, negative entries are credits and Positive entries in Valuation, Liabilities, Equities, and Income Accounts are Credits, negative entries are Debits.
GENERAL LEDGER
This is where you will encode your beginning balance from previous report. The Ledger analyzes the Debit and Credit of all the Account in this Program. Only the accounts with Beginning Balance are to be encoded in the January 1 column. Click first the Balance cell in line with January 1 and view to know where cell you will encode said Beginning Balance.
